It is one of the most beautiful mountain goat that every hunter would like have one in his trophy room.Major hunting areas are the Taurus Mountains on the south of Turkey, as well as the mountains of central Turkey, and the mountains in the eastern Black Sea region.  Bezoar living on rugged mountain , rocky and adjacent bushes, in most areas in Turkey is easy to hunt but in the some areas challenge.Males  can reach a weight of 100 kg and a horn length of 160 cm. Most successful hunting seasons are November, December and January, which are also mating seasons.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Weather conditions also vary greatly during the hunting season. In most areas the weather conditions can be quite nice until mid December.  During the month of November, temperature can be in the 6-15 degrees range. Towards the end of December the weather conditions tend to change as the cold weather conditions can move in. Temperatures can drop down to anywhere around 0 Celcius. For the most Bezoar hunting areas, January  February and March can be considered to be the coldest time of the year. At times, temperatures can remain around and below zero Celcius during these months.

HUNTING METHOD & ACCOMMODATION

Bezoar ibex hunt is stalking hunt system.From the hotel to hunting area takes 30-60 minutes by 4x4 car .Bezoar ibex hunt  starts at a very early hour of the morning and continues until dark.You should set aside a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 7 days for your bezoar hunt. you can hunt 10 days if you are a bow hunter.

Accommodation is in the closest hotel or village house to the hunting area.
